CTOOL & MCTOOL Product Description

During assembly, this reusable tool is designed as a simple method for accurately locating the encoder base relative to the shaft to promote concentricity, thereby providing the highest possible encoder accuracy.

Note: Variations of the CTOOL are designed for the E2, E3, E5, E6, E8T, E16, EC35, and M3K. The E4T uses the MCTOOL. Please make your selection in the Product Configurator accordingly.

General Instructions: When mounting the encoder base, slide the centering tool down the shaft until it slips into the centering hole of the encoder base. Tighten the encoder base mounting screws, then remove the centering tool. For additional information, please refer to the specific product's assembly instructions.
