US Digital’s optical encoders, magnetic encoders, and inclinometers are used in a wide variety of places: stepper motors, robotics, medical and laboratory diagnostic equipment, additive manufacturing, industrial automation, renewable energy, and many other applications requiring position feedback. Motion control building blocks include incremental and absolute optical kit encoders, inclinometers, drives, interfaces, and support products.

Vertically Integrated Facility

Counter to the popular trend of outsourcing, US Digital’s core products are designed, manufactured, supported, and shipped from Vancouver, Washington, USA. Our highly automated processes allow us to make cost-competitive, high-performance products, meeting the customer’s need for reliable supply chain management. Our vertically integrated design and manufacturing capabilities provide customers best-in-industry lead times and support from prototype to production. With this infrastructure, US Digital is positioned to handle continuous growth well into the future. We have a proven Quality Management System in place, following ISO 9001:2015, that supports the drive for efficiencies through our continuous improvement process.

In 2016, the cleanroom manufacturing and assembly facility was expanded as an investment to support future technologies and increased production capacity. This cleanroom is an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) environment that meets or exceeds the conditions according to the ISO 14644-1 and Federal Standard 209E.
